Troubleshooting Your Hammock Order

We do our best to design, build, and deliver a perfect product for you. Each hammock is tested before packaging. But, mistakes happen. And, due to the nature of bamboo and the handmade design of our products, variations can occur. We want to make sure that you are completely satisfied with your hammock. If you’re not, we’ll make it right. Below we’ve listed some of the issues that, although rare, do happen from time to time. And, we’ve listed your best bet for each issue. If you don’t see your issue listed here, or our solution doesn’t help in your case, please contact us and we will do our very best to make you happy. 

The color of my hammock net is different from what I ordered.

Each hammock net is handmade from recycled fibers to keep our product eco-friendly. Due to this, colors will vary slightly as each one is unique. That being said, we aim for specific color stylings and your hammock net should be very close to (if not exactly) what you ordered. If it’s not, there may have been a mix-up in packaging. Either way, we’d be happy to replace your net. Please contact us.

The hammock net doesn’t fit the stand.

The “A-frames” in the hammock stand often have a very slight curve to them — this is normal. When assembled, the direction of the curve should be inward, not outward. A 2-degree curve on a 2-foot pole can mean a 6-inch variation on each side. So, if your net doesn’t fit, try flipping the A-frames. If that doesn’t work or you need more help, please contact us.

I’m having trouble lining up the holes while assembling the hammock.

All screw connections should be loosely connected by hand before being tightened one-by-one with tools. Once a connection is fully tightened, it can bend the bamboo slightly and cause misalignment of the holes. Connect all of the pieces first and then tighten the screws to solve this.
